Born William Harness, the musician is the grandson of country great Jessi Colter and the stepgrandson of outlaw country pioneer Waylon Jennings. That's what gave me the love for the steel guitar and the fiddle and different instruments that I now incorporate into my rap music.
My mom was the kind of woman who didn't want any handouts. She didn't want Waylon's money, she just wanted to get out on her own. So we ended up in lower-income housing a lot of the time, in apartments that were based on your income, and I was engulfed in everything that was happening in those areas.
Now he travels the world to reach people for his Savior. He and his wife, Marie, are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary of the ministry! William's concerts are interlaced with drama and testimony, capturing the audience's attention from the very first song! His extraordinary talent reaches beyond age barriers and communicates his love for God and the hope that we all have in Christ.

In Nashville, where everyone has some sort of connection to the industry, though, it never seemed like anything to brag about. Harness recalls herself as an "extremely musical" child -- she sang in the choir, was first chair in band and "just, like, ran around singing all the time" -- but her debut album, Welcome to My Nightmare , only just arrived in She dreamed of being a forensic scientist, then considered a few other career paths; music as her life's work wasn't a given.
There's so many artists out there, and it's such a battle to really get your name out there and get your music heard, and a very expensive process as well," Harness explains. I love it so much.
